Nice hotel, clean, tidy, very presentable. Rooms good. It would help if there was a laminated sheet of paper detailing what tv programs are available and how to find them, ie what number to find a particular station. The bathroom is functional but needs updating / modernising.

My daughter, my husband, and I stayed at this Travelodge on October 19, 2025. I must admit, it was cleaner and more welcoming than all the other Travelodge hotels we've stayed at before. When we got home, we realized my daughter had left her little sheep, her first toy, at the hotel. We called immediately, and they took our information and said they would send it to us. We called two more times a few days later, which added £22 to our phone bill When we couldn't get a result, we emailed customer service, but we still hadn't received our sheep toy. Because it was her first toy, she cried many nights thinking about it Then, two days ago, a package arrived, and they sent our sheep. The truth is, the number of days that passed doesn't matter because it's a truly precious toy to my daughter. In conclusion, thank you so much You made a child so, so happy

Lovely. There's a shell garage, serves hot pastries. Greggs and a Starbucks onsite. Perfect for a pit stop.

Stayed here after the refurbishment and is excellent. I have always liked this Travelodge as it was convenient for work when I was in the area (based in London). Brought my wife this time as a treat () and she was very impressed - this is women more used to 5 star hotels like the Fairmont St Andrews. Room clean and bedding spotless. Bathroom was clean. Added bonus is the Greggs next door.

Wheelchair accessible parking, entrance and rooms. The door threshold has a tiny little lip which may cause problems for power chairs. Dog friendly, with a nice kept grass area out front but the bushes do need some maintenance as it covers the path for the grass. Additionally not wheelchair accessible unless you go all the way around to the shell garage where there’s a path to the grass area. Very clean and well kept rooms, and communal hall ways. Rooms are quite basic, no ac but a fan was provided does mean the room was hot despite it only being 20•. Also feel the bottom front rooms would benefit from privacy screen on windows so the curtains could be opened without everyone in the car park being able to look in. Close to busy roads so noisy when windows are open. Only 30 minutes wifi for free but paid upgrades are available. Regardless, it was quiet and a good stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Felt safe as the hallway to the rooms was automatically locked using a key fob system.

Nicely refreshed rooms in a very convenient location. The staff are very helpful and polite, nothing is too much trouble. A further benefit is it being next door to a petrol station shop, Starbucks and Greggs.

Overall, we had a positive experience with this hotel. The room was clean, with slightly opened windows and fresh air inside. There is no air conditioning, but a fan is available if needed. I liked the view from the windows — trees and bushes all around, which made it feel like the hotel was located in the middle of a forest. We woke up to the sound of birds singing, which was so nice. In the bathroom, the shower was slightly leaking, but overall the water system worked well. We were surprised to find that breakfast was served in boxes instead of a buffet, but the contents were quite decent for the price. (I’ll add photos of the breakfast boxes below.) The girl at the reception was very friendly and welcoming — it really made a difference.
